"Hey Rock music fans, Let me introduce you to a different way to hear the Bible.  Joe Bolf and crew  have produced the Bible, not READ but Sung with rock music as the vehicle to carry the word.

With a "Dylanish" sound, a Great musical team and a commitment to having people hear the Bible, Joe has undertaken this great feat with his usual style."

The Bible to Rock Music...Really! Yes, really! Joe came to faith in Christ the first Sunday He stepped into The Church of the Open Bible in Greenville, Maine where I was pastor in the mid seventies. It seems like Joe was always music man. Now Joe has put the Living Word of God to Rock music, now that’s some cool. I like it Joe! Blessings brother.

I have discussed this music audio project with Joe Bolf by text and group posts several times. I support what he has done with setting the Bible to music.

"This Audio Bible has the great genius of my friend Joe Bolf. Joe has played in my band Fishers of Men and has played in many bands for years. He plays guitar, keyboard and is a seasoned pro on the Saxophone. Check out his studio talent of bringing the Bible to life in song. Amazing stuff of which I fully endorse and actually did some background drums on some. Joe also did all the carvings of pictures and is a professional wood carver too."

Rod Gudroe, Drummer for Fishers of Men, Maine

I still vividly recall going to Joe's wood carving shop the first time in 2003 while living in Greenville. That meeting started a process of an iron-sharpening-iron friendship that has become one of God's gems through the tumbler/polishing process of life.

Joe had a Bob Dylan-esque voice then that grabbed my attention, and all these years later his vocal style continues to highlight a rough reality of an earthly life of one who has followed Jesus through many, tough challenges to faith in Christ.

This long, somewhat lonely effort to proclaim God's Word through music highlights Joe's tenacious love for Jesus and a desire to make Him known through a very unique presentation of Scripture.

As surely as no two prophets, servants, or disciples were the same in Scripture, God still uses a variety of servants today to declare the glories of Christ Jesus.

Grace multiplied to you Joe as you seek to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ in this way.
