Jennifer Knapp Joins Lilith Fair
Christian musician Jennifer Knapp will be joining Lilith Fair for 2010. What do you think of that?
Jennifer Knapp is a Christian artist, performing generally inspirational music. She's a talented rocker, and I like her music. Lilith Fair is an all-female traveling music festival, organized by Sara McLachlan. The name comes from a medieval legend that Adam's first wife was named Lilith.
I'd like your opinions: do you think that's a good idea? Why, or why not? Some might suggest that a Christian who lends their name and reputation to such a group is inviting problems. Others might suggest that it's a great opportunity for Jennifer to let her light shine in a place where it's needed.
Your opinions are welcome below...have at it!

I'm not American nor live in America so I don't know what Lilith Fair represents and I don't know who Sara McLachlan (I'll google her now..lol).. but I do know of Jennifer Knapp's music and what it represents of her heart's devotion. With that in mind I think it's good for her to have chosen to join Lilith Fair 2010. First it's not our place to decide whether she ought to or not, she isn't asking our permision rather she has already gotten her OK from Whom she serves, that's all she needs really..second it's not simply about her "shining" the light as we Christians love to say but I think "Christian artists" have saturated Christians with enough inspirational music , it's time to give it to the "world"..put it out there where it belongs & is ALSO needed!! Besides who coined that term "Christian artist"? An artist is an artist, just as a Doctor is a doctor and not a "Christian doctor"...
A lover of God and Jennifer Knapp's music...
