Most of you aren't old enough to have watched The Bob Newhart Show. It was very, very funny...primarily because of (you guessed it) Bob Newhart. He's very, very funny. From 1972 to 1978, people tuned in to watch a mild-mannered psychologist. The final episode of the show is legendary.
The video below is from Mad TV. Bob plays a mild-mannered psychologist. Go figure.

As my friends from high school can tell you, I never really worried about being cool. I've never been that concerned about swagger. I'm just me, and that's good enough. The only people who need to worry about being cool are the ones who aren't. Putting on a show to impress people doesn't make you awesome, it's makes you pathetic. If you're not already impressive and awesome, get to work and become impressive and awesome. Pretending is just silly.

Do you remember Animal, from The Muppet Show? He was the drummer for Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, and was known for going wild during his drum solos. Well, this guy plays a lot like that. It's a little long, but that's not too bad, considering the tune: ZZ Top's Sharp Dressed Man.

This is fascinating! Imagine taking underwater video and having your camera stolen by an octopus. Sounds scary to me, to be honest. I'm not sure I would handle the situation as well as this guy, but maybe I wouldn't be down there unless I could.
Maybe the octopus was looking for his 15 minutes of fame, or maybe he wanted to put some videos of his kids on Facebook. Either way, this is a cool glimpse into life in the ocean. Enjoy!

I love it when someone goes out on a limb and makes a prediction. It shows boldness. I also love it when those predictions turn out to be thoroughly, utterly, and irredeemably false. I don't like it when it happens to me, of course...but when it happens to someone else, it's pretty funny.
In a February 1995 article, Newsweek writer Clifford Stoll predicted that the Internet would never really amount to anything. He scoffed at the so-called experts in the field, declaring in a fairly smug way th...
